Fight WELL… #WarriorInHeels

Timothy, my son, I command you…In accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as WEAPONS in order to FIGHT WELL!!!…1 Timothy 1: 18

How’s our fighting game going these days guys?

I’ve probably read that post of mine about 501 times and it gets me pumped EVERYTIME!!!

I can’t believe I wrote it sef. Just God!!!
Anyways, I’m about to pump us all up with even more fire.

Position yourselves!!!

I’ve been in a crazy tight romance with Paul and Timothy. I’ve previously told you how fiercely in love I am with healthy fruitful mentor-mentee relationships.

Paul-Timothy, Moses-Joshua, Elijah-Elisha, Joyce-Chris, Rev Victor-Rev Femi, Rev Femi-Pk, etc.

Oh gosh, it gets me so pumped to see godly thriving mentoring. I enter their matter. Seriously.

So in Paul’s rather emotional letter to Timothy, he charges him to FIGHT WELL.

We fight with the WORD!!!

Mehn, if you are not worded, I dunno what you are doing baby, but it ain’t FIGHTING!!!

You see what Paul told his son? You fight with all those words of prophecies spoken about you. Remember in those days, they didn’t quite have the Bible but today, we do.

No hun, you do NOT need to start running around looking for a prophet to speak words of prophecy over you with which you fight.
Nah!!! Thank You Jesus!!!

We have a more SURE word of prophecy in the Bible!!! 2Peter 1:19

So we sit our butts down, diligently search the scriptures on areas where we know we need to war, get our WORDssss, write them down and get to WAR!!!

Tz a battle of Words ooo and the most powerful word weapon is the Word of God.

Use it.
Fight well!!!

I believe something else very very important in warfare has to be consistency.

C O N S I S T E N C Y!!!

I could do a separate really LONG blog on the C-word which a lot of us don’t exactly like to apply today.
We want IMMEDIATE results.
We pray once, we don’t see results, we stop!!!

Even I find myself slippin’ into that sometimes and then I have to adjust quickly.

If there is anything we can ‘learn’ from the devil has to be how that loser doesn’t give up easily. The devil will use anything at anytime and anywhere to attack us. If A fails, you best believe he’s coming at you with b, c, d right up to Z.

But we who have been called to be Warriors, the kick-ass kind, sometimes sadly give up before him.

If only we knew how weak he was.
If only we knew just how close to victory we were.

Let’s jump right to Elijah in 1Kings for a second.

Chapter 18 opens with a Word from God to him… I’m sending rain!!!

Elijah repeats same in verse 41 to Ahab after that Boko-haramic massacre of Baal’s prophets…

‘I hear the sound of abundance of rain…’

Movie time…

Elijah takes a position. I am in love with that position so some days, I’m feeling rather Elijah’ry and I attempt it. For all of 30seconds. Lol. Let’s just say I prefer to stay on my face or my back. Or sit. Or pace Ain’t noborry go’ time fo’ tha’ Elijah posture.

But he takes a position and goes into battle.

He had the Word. ‘Prophecy’ if you like –
Rain is Coming!!!

But the Word spoken won’t happen if you don’t fight for it ooo. War a good warfare with it.

All He had to do was stay in that battle position UNTIL the Word became flesh. Or rain, literally.

Several times, his servant returned saying ‘I didn’t see anything’ and every time He sent him back while he remained in that position.

Talk about Consistency!!!

I can bet you Elijah was both praying, praising, worshipping and confessing the Word.

That Sisters, is how we fight!!!
We stay in THAT POSITION, in this case, a spiritual posture of warfare.
We keep praying.
We keep praising.
We keep worshipping.
We stay confessing ONLY what we wanna see/have.
We stay WARRING!!!
The servant went and came 7 times with nonsense report before he brought a good report.
7 there just means perfection.
We stay WARRING guys, until we get that ‘perfect’ report. Not a second earlier.

We give up too easily. Eziaha inclusive. I’m learning too. What we really need are ladies (and men) who stay fighting long after the initial emotion or pep talk is over.
We might have some battle scars but I promise you babe, at the end, we will be holding the Victor’s cup and medal if we ‘faint not’
But you know what, I’m excited at what God is doing.
I KNOW God is raising up Warrior Chicks. Lionesses. Women who know the kind of battle they have been called to, and have made up their minds to be undefeatable. #NoWeapon…

Women who know their Daddy is a MAN OF WAR and so know that the WARRIOR DNA is also in them.

Who are unflinching as they go into battle DETERMINED to fight WELL and to FINISH!!!

Which is why I am unbelievably EXCITED about Warrior In Heels!!!

Sweet Lord Baby Jesus!!!
When I did that post on ‘Are we even fighting at all…?’ I had ZERO idea When Women Worship this year was all about fighting.
I was pleasantly shocked when mama mentioned to me that this was the theme.
Don’t let me preach too much.
April 1 and April 3.

Two locations. (Festac and Lekki)
One city. Lagos.
Don’t worry about the Guest ministers coming, Jesus will be there and that’s ALL you need. (But PC will be ministering in Lekki. Eish!!!)

See ehn, just COME!!!

Come, like a little child, with UNREASONABLE expectations that God can and will do ANYTHING no matter the magnitude of the battle.

Kai, we all have battles ooo. Some of us are fighting health battles. Others financial. Some spiritual. Some marriage and family. Some soul ties. Some gossip/beef/drama. Some rebellion and insubordination. Some fornication/adultery. Some pornography/masturbation Etc. We all have wetin dey do us. Some of us have been fighting on our own and doing well at it. Some of us are NOT. Oh, but TWO will ALWAYS chase ten thousand!!!

Which is why we are coming together, as an army of warriors. Some are just being recruited into the army of fighters. Others are coming for reinforcement. Either way, the chick who walks in, I’m too sure won’t be the same chick who walks out. At least, that’s what I’m believing for myself.

Eeeeeeeeeeek!!! I am about to explode!!! Oh Jesus!!! Can you just imagine the kinda damage that we are going to do to the Kingdom of darkness.

I’m on my face before God for this program. I’m praying with all my heart that as Tasha Cobbs sang, an army of warriors in Heels, will rise up from that program, untameable, as we go to do major damage to the Kingdom of darkness. Lionesses arising indeed, in the words of Lisa Bevere.

I don’t know about you but i’m really REALLY tired of being weak and then having weak people around me. I want every lady around me to be a high heeled Holy Ghost terrorist. Not the ‘hey-ya’ friend. Look, this is a REAL need in my life. A REALLY REAL need!!! I am TIRED of seeing wimpy, weak-willed, ladies with defeatist attitude. I am also tired of being same. The world is already unfair in their labelling of women as weak as per powerless. It’s worse when we erroneously show them that we really are.

Oh good Lord, imagine a world of Warrior Chicks!!! I mean, heels, makeup on fleek, gele, manicured nails, perfect hair (natural or not) and all, looking pretty on the outside but inside, a real spiritual bulldog!!!

Lionesses (I’m resisting the urge to go on about my latest crush on Lisa Bevere but it is hardddddd)

Imagine how much of a pleasant surprise it will be. Imagine the kinda power we would command!!!
Imagine the kinda terror we would be to the kingdom of darkness. And the freshness we could bring to the world as we emerge.

Can I share a teeny weeny secret? I believe women are the REAL leaders of the home when it comes to spiritual warfare.

Sorry, not up for debate.
But really, life would be real awesome when we are doing it along side (prayer)warriors in heels!!!

One time, two of the most amazing Chicks I got to know via my blog, Eloho and 1plus came visiting. I shared with them my challenge in my search for a help and in the middle of my talk, they stop me, seriously and say ‘you know what, let’s agree and pray about it. It is easy to go on and on about our problems magnifying it without knowing, rather than PRAY about it. So Eloho shares a story of her aunt and her amazing househelp and how she stayed long with them and all that good stuff. And she prayed that God will favor me with same…’
See the kinda Chicks I want in my corner. Because I finally got my homehelp and she is a REAL answer to our prayers. Amen!!! We are coming together for Warrior in Heels.

Btw, if you are wondering why there is no picture, that’s cos Ayo stole our ‘fine’ in that picture soooo… lol. Actually, I don’t have the picture we took here.

Or was it this time one of my (best) friends and I were on the phone discussing the various Faith projects on our table. I think I was updating her on mine. I mean, we were just gisting about how crazy we were and at the end of the convo, when I’m about to say ‘bye love’ and she goes

‘*deep breathe and exhale*
Father I just thank you for your daughter Eziaha…….’

And that’s how she started praying ooo. Good Lord!!! I can’t forget the way she took that breath and exhaled. I recall exactly where I was in the waiting lounge at Abuja airport. I was shocked. How did we move from just random fun-gisting sorta talk to Prayers? Oh but she KNEW that after we finished talking, we should PRAY. It was unplanned. It was unrehearsed. It was REAL!!! It just flowed.

How many conversations/gist/phonecalls end with prayers?
Gosh!!! I thank God for warrior-friendships.
I want more and more Chicks like that in both my life, and in life generally. Just released into the atmosphere.
Lionesses. Warriors. Girls with swords.

Just going into all the world and doing major damage to the enemy.

You can come for any of the days. You can come from outside town and you can stay at my home. Looking forward to meeting my (half) namesake who is coming all the way from the east on my invite. Soooooooooooo excited. I’ve loved talking to her over the phone so when I thought of who to invite, my mind went straight to her.

Oh btw, the lady I invited last year is PREGNANT today!!! She got her testimony.

Good Lord!!!

Me, one of my battles has to do with finances. You see, I just discovered Luke 8 v 1-3 and I am now consumed in a good way with being VERY WEALTHY!!!

Those women FROM THEIR OWN CONSIDERABLE MEANS supported Jesus and His travelling crew financially!!!

I fainted!!! You see, I’ve been living small!!! Living for my own needs.
I. Quit!!! I Repent!!!

I dunno about you but there’s PLENTY work to be done in and for the Kingdom of God here on earth and guess what will fuel it?
No wonder the devil is pumping money to his agents on earth. Tufiakwa!!!
Money is such a tool mehn!!!
Again, not debating with you. I just need me some major MONEY!!!

Btw, Luke is officially my favourite disciple and Book. It must be the Doctor in him. He certainly brought a different angle to a lot of the Bible stories.

Remember ladies, gather your war tools. Prepare for battle baby.

Personally, I’m writing down scriptures for the areas I wanna war in.

I’ll also watch War room again for more pump factor. And then I’ll recommend this video Girls with swords!!!

Then I’ll not stop praying for the absolute success of the program.
Consider this my personal invite to you.

Before you start doing anything physical, come and war and settle it in the spiritual first. Then God will now show you HOW to do it in the physical.
And i’m serious, you can stay at mine. Just don’t be dirty. Lol. And don’t snore too.

Or you can also stay at Pastor M’s.
Lol. I’m kiddin’. She didn’t send me ooo. I’m just being naughty.

And oh, you do NOT have to wear heels if you are not comfy in it. Like my girl Dimma would say
‘where’s my sneakers? No time’

I personally don’t think I’ll b doing heels even though I’m a bit sad cos I realised last week that I’m 5ft 10 when all the while I thought I was 5ft 11″. Sigh. I’m tempted to but my ankle has cucu been hinting me with all my workouts. Something else to war about. I can even pray I hit 6ft. I mean, while we are praying……….
Anyways, just come. There is a tee which is 2k. I think you can buy at the venue too. But even if you don’t have, just COME!!!

Come to Festac on the 3rd, that’s Sunday evening. Or Lekki on the 1st of April that’s Friday evening.
And if you see me, (i’ll be at both by God’s grace) say Hiiiiiiiii !!!

Happy Easter. I hope to ‘enter’ the season before it is over. I only realised Easter was today, yesterday. Days have morphed into days without seams for me this week. I have eaten oats and noodles daily this week. Caffeine has powered many hours for me this week. I’ve stayed offline and incommunicado longer than I cared this week. I’ve switched up every routine I’ve had this week. I think I’m operating a heavenly time zone. Hopefully, something resets me. It’s not a problem or whatever oooo. I just don’t know what happened to me this week. But one thing I know is this
I. Need. A. Holiday!!!
Somebody invite me somewhere for 48hours only please!!!
I won’t even lie, it is getting tougher and tougher not having my hubby in Lagos with me. I’m no longer sure how I’m coping.

Yawl, pray with me??? (Nobody send me any ‘hey ya’ email please)

Lisa Bevere is EVERYTHING!!! I’m not even kidding.

Very fierce preacher. 56. Mom of four boys. Grandmom to 3.

Just go and find her and follow. Watch her YouTube vids esp Girls with swords and Lioness arising.
She’s my new (second) best friend.
I’m just amazed at the women God has sha. Phew!!!

My life in THREE Junes…

Hi guys. So I know I am supposed to be posting part 2 of WHY AM I STILL SINGLE but let’s put a pause on that for now, shall we? Thanks.

For the past two Junes, something amazing has featured in my life, asides my birthday of course. But first lemme do small Pastor Mildred gossip hehehe.

With Pastor M at CHAYIL CONFERENCE 2014

With Pastor M at CHAYIL CONFERENCE 2014

It dawned on me this week that two years ago at about the same time this amazing something happens, Pastor M was pregnant and glowing to heavens. Jeez that red gown… untitledWhat made the pregnancy amazingly special was the fact that Doctors had said she would NEVER carry a child but 8years into her marriage, ‘…for the first time, my womb was not empty…

(Get the message WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING by PM for more details on the testimony. Still easily one of my BEST right up there with the POWER, MONEY and SEX series. Yup get that one too. Call 08077714411 or 08028356363) She wasn’t there alone.

Women of faith

The very warm and lovely Pastor Laurie IDAHOSA was with her, she too with her three testimonies stephen-ezenwosu-13714854071061despite doctor’s reports and plenty drama. I was there too but more on me later.

And then there were tonnes and tonnes of testimonies of pregnancies and births from the previous year choi

Hahahahaha this year, my darling Pastor M is here again, hosting the annual event WHEN WOMEN WORSHIP and she is pregnant again

Can't find the full length of this pix ugh!!!

Can’t find the full length of this preggy pix

hahahahahahahahaha so next year, she will be here again at WWW 2016 with her testimony baby (David?). Anybody thinking wha’ I am thinking for WWW 2017, 2018…??? Yes yes? Ok don’t say it out but if you know this song just sing along with me

If He did it before, He will do it again…dsc_6003

(In case you don’t find me at WWW this year, know that Pastor M has locked me in the generator house so come and save a sister)

Ok enough about Pastor M. It just dawned on me now that I don’t even know if the annual event WHEN WOMEN WORSHIP (WWW) started 2years ago or that was just the first one I attended. Anyways WWW 2013 was themed IMELA. It always falls in June so there I was, fresh graduate, Corper, planning my wedding, everything going well, no real issues. I had reasons to say IMELA Chineke (That’s like You have done well Lord or best still, You Lord have outdone yourself).

I recall inviting plenty of my friends and meeting some of them for the first time there e.g. Tani. My dear, the next year, baby girl who came in 2013, in her words ‘jobless and depressed’ was at A KI KITAN testifying of how her life had changed in the last one year. Not only did she get a job, she had been promoted and had become an official LAGOS BIG GIRL.

I mean, look a’ tha’

Ok so WWW 2014 was themed A KI KI TAN (When Words Fail) and my goodness gracious, I had moved to the ‘Buj by then, NYSC done, married and all but trusting God for my dream job so me was coming to WWW with that huge request but also with a heart of worship and gratitude because frankly, I was in a VERY GOOD PLACE too. It was at the airport, Lagos bound and writing that Private jet post that I got the phonecall that landed me my job. Literally WORDS FAILED ME!!! Thank God for tears, I could just express myself freely in them both at the departure lounge and in His presence with other women. Then see me now saying I would miss WWW2015 as I would be either too heavy and about to pop or just about popped not knowing that I came for A KI KI TAN already pregnant hehehe.liThis year ehn, lemme not lie, I come bearing REQUESTS hehehe. Azzin the list lonnnnnnngggggggg. The changes that a baby brings in your life is REAL. First I have had to relocate to Lagos first to birth my child but wisdom demands I stay back because… BABY (at least for a few odd years maybe) and that auto means I left some ‘goodies’ behind in the ‘Buj.

Fine mama

Fine mama

A new life beckons so girlfriend is in the market for a house, a nanny, a car and when my Chocolata Royal is old enough, a job. If only these things were pushed out with the baby hehehe. But we can pray the goodies here because we never lose with God, especially when a baby is involved.

So guess who is NOT joking with WWW 2015 themed THREE NIGHTS IN THE SECRET PLACE? Yup, Eziaha!!!! In fact, I am sooo serious that I have rented momsie for those three nights to babysit because I need maximum concentration biko. I had to sharply courier my electric breast pump which had been sitting pretty in the ‘Buj

because the manual wouldn’t do the work involved in storing the large quantity I need for my Chocolata Royal and we still on the exclusive breastfeeding grind. My freezer is getting full with enough food so nobody calls me that booboo is crying ooo. Yup Eziaha is NOT KIDDIN’

What makes this year special has to be the fact that it is a whole THREE DAYS!!!wpid-img_20150612_232930.jpg

Day One; Friday June 19 at 6.30pm_ When Women Pray

Day Two: Saturday June 20 at 4.30pm_ When Women Praise

Day Three: Sunday June 21 at 4.30pm_ When Women Worship

I won’t even type out all the ministers coming because it doesn’t matter who comes, GOD WILL BE THERE Shattah!!!! But then the Ministers coming no be here ooo choi!!! Pastor M has some listed in her post here and in the one above.

Tee for Day 1 BUT HEY IF YOU NO GET, come

I am excited about all three days but you see that day 1, High heels for WHA??? Sweeties, I have dusted my trainers. Very comfy ones. Then my jeans and tee shirt. I am also in the middle of gathering scriptures I would use to fire my prayers. Kabayaaaaaaaa. Personally, I would be praying for my hubby, my Chocolata Royal and then myself so I go arrange my scriptures laidat hehehe. Yes call me selfish ooo hehehe. Would also remember my friends trusting God for babies (while dodging the baby bullets for now). I need more godchildren please. And specially for Ijay Sweets whose birthday is that day but she no dey Lagos sooooo…

Then the next day, we will now dress up and boogy down for answered prayers and finally day 3, ah good ol’ ever reliable worship. Just flat out worship THE KING!!! Was watching one of my most favouritestest Pastors Poju Oyemade and just before he came up, there was this music minister who was ministering. The presence was so thick dude couldn’t sing, he was just speaking in tongues… Ah worship atmosphere is something else. Wild bears and lions camping at my dormot would not stop me

Now tell me which problems can survive these three days? Dem never born the person wey born the person wey born am…

Tell you what else I would be doing?

I would also sow a seed so that my prayers are dropping on wet ground. I know that thee days there is a resistance and tons of reservations when it comes to Biblical giving but I loved how and always refer to the people of the OT especially Papa Abraham who took every opportunity to build an altar and sacrifice to the Lord especially when God has spoken to them OR God has done something OR when they want God to speak to them OR to do something. So because I believe in sowing and reaping, I will.

My people, ha si na ogologo okwu adiro n’uka mgbede. No long sermon in evening service. I have talk my own. Lemme go and express more milk before I sleep. See you at #3NITSP wpid-just-us-girls-2015-flyerand please follow Pastor M on for all the deets.

And hey, all my people coming, if you see me, say HIIIIII but not when we are praying sha hehehe. That prayer time is not the time to be socializing before the Angel carrying the answer…. Hahahahaha. That analogy makes me laugh.

Why am I still SINGLE? A message preached by Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo

I just love this message. I am not sure but I think this was the last LoveDating&Marriage seminar I attended at DCC Lagos. I love it so much that it is the last Singles message left on my phone. It just seemed soooooo practical and useful. So this is dedicated to all my Single FABers. So much to learn from it. Preached by my Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo wpid-pastor-k.jpg So why am I still single? He answers this with 5 questions… Enjoy.

  1. Am I available?

Some people are actually NOT available but they think they are. Some actions or way of life make you NOT available in the ‘Singles market’ which is actually over saturated. There are some mindsets you may have which unknown to you may be sending out vibes to men that you are not available eg Do you always walk around with this thought ‘there are no good men/women anymore’ whilst praying for one? Honey, daz not ghanna wok. As a (wo)man thinketh in his heart, SO IS HE!!! Also if you are carrying emotional baggage, you may think you are available but you are not.

photo courtest intl workplace

photo courtest intl workplace

The energy flowing from you ain’t in line with what you praying for. It is like a house which has a ‘Welcome to our home’ doormat but yet a big dog right at the entrance. You know you ain’t welcome. Emotional baggages would keep getting in the way of conversations with even remotely interested opposite sex and aint nobody got time to continually hear about your ex John who dumped you or whatever horrid happened in the past. Please let God heal any hurt from your past. Also are you dating someone you KNOW you cannot marry whilst yet claiming ‘Single’? Eg dating a married man or some ‘bad guy’.

You may be thinking you are just holding that person in the mentime till the ‘Mr Right’ comes along but hunnay, you are sending signals even you don’t know about and people can pick those signals. You are emotionally involved no matter what you think. Usually when you meet someone, you are NOT as interested as a fully single person is only you don’t know.

Also, if there is this ‘Bro John’ you have been ‘claiming’ although dude has neither said anything nor is he feeling you laidat. That HUGE emotional investment in Bro John has made you less emotionally available to others but you dunno. It will be clear that there is NO VACANCY in your life for other people. Please don’t lose a good guy waiting on Bro John whom you have seen in a vision lol. Keep it moving and ‘empty’ Love. Bro John aint interested. PK tells the story of this girl in this uni who was overheard praying and claiming a certain ‘Bro John’ who everyone knows was already engaged to ‘Sister Mary’. The girl just dey pray dey claim the man calling out his name and surname sef. You see such a lady, though she is single, she ain’t available. Another way to check if you are available is to find out if you have unrealistic standards. The person some ladies/guys wanna marry is A PEOPLE- 4/5 in one person. I wrote a post on that here. Nobody is 100% and hey even if there was someone like that, guess what? That person wont be able to stand you cos you are not 100%. I want a man that is very romantic, rich, successful, Prayer warrior, Bible teacher, good singer like Don or Kirk, humble like Adeboye, have faith like Oyedepo, excellent like Adefarasin, Prayer warrior like Olukoya, funny like PK, HABA SISTER, ONLY YOU!!!??? Humans are work in progress. That spouse doesn’t have to come 100% perfect 2. Are you accessible?

Some people are available and eligible but they are NOT accessible. They cannot be reached. Nobody got access to her.

Almost like all those sheltered children whose father had this shotgun or a big dog for any man that dared to visit.

You are certainly not welcome on this property... Photo from Flickr

You are certainly not welcome on this property… Photo from Flickr

As a single person, you must be able to be reached. You can’t be praying for a spouse and continually sit in your room under your bed, tz only mosquito that will see you. And God. But God doesn’t wanna marry. Ain’t no eligible person gonna come under your bed and see you. Which is why it is good for instance to belong to a church and a service group. Too much stories of couples who met whilst serving in church.

Being a member of the church ain’t enough especially if you are in all those big churches. Chances that you would be seen are low when all you do is come in, worship and after service you just leave. Ah!!! Bae, how is that gonna work? Join a department/small unit/connect group/house fellowship and let people SEE you and interact with you.

Not that you just rush into your car after every service without interacting with anybody. Don’t always walk sooooo fast. If you are single, reduce your pace hehehe. But frankly, I met one of my readers who said some people complained that she always walks too fast and with a straight face everytime in church and so was unapproachable. So please, catwalk ehn. Especially as a lady because these guys just dey try arrange themselves, gather stamina and muster courage to talk to you but before they reach you, you don disappear. And as a guy too, you gast be wise/. He tells the story of how in Bible school, first day he spotted this girl he thought he would like to get to know. Unfortunately, they didn’t sit so close. The next day he came early and sat close to the area the girl sat, made it a habit and kept finding reasons to communicate with her even if it meant copying notes he already had and asking questions he already had the answers to. ‘Excuse me, did you copy the assignment?’ ‘Did you get what that teacher said here?’ Of course, they started talking from there. My dear, you must be accessible as a single. Position yourself well. Have hobbies and be involved in them. Be sociable. Have friends. Obviously, he is not talking clubbing and stuff. There is healthy clean fun. Take yourself out if you have to, somebody might meet you there ooo. Nobody must take you there ooo. And while you are there, please be looking around small small. Like my Rev would say, watch and pray 3. Be approachable

From a recent shooting with Nemorosa. Thanks for the great shooting!

From a recent shooting with Nemorosa. Thanks for the great shooting!

Some people are available, they are accessible but to approach them is a different, impossible ball game. If you need to practice how to smile in front of a mirror, please do. Some ladies have a natural frowning face. A lot of men are not bold and they fear rejection so imagine they now gather courage to walk up to you and say hi or anything else to initiate conversation and you just size them up and down and are generally not very polite or welcoming.

The guy will just change mouth, turn you to traffic warden and ask you for direction or to borrow bible or something else. Anything but what he was on his mind because your countenance is bad. Please greet people and respond warmly. He that hath friend must show himself friendly. Recall Rebekah and how approachable and friendly she was to Abby’s servant and how she landed herself a rich young eligible blessed man. Another thing is when ladies always walk together like a gang and their countenance makes it hard for any guy to get that opportunity to speak to one privately. Don’t look down on people who don’t have it all now and be like ‘he is not my type’ lol. Some of these hunks we see now have not always been hunks ooo. For example see Rev and PK’s Surulere pix hehehe

hahahahahaha lol

hahahahahaha lol. I wish I can see the third man now

A great Cloud of WITNESSES

Therefore since we are surrounded by a GREAT cloud of WITNESSES…
Hebrews 12:1

I love this scripture. Especially because of how God has revealed Himself to me through it in recent times through a series of experiences- Mine and others who have shared with me.
You know there is something about your own RHEMA. Your personal revelation. I had heard Rev explain this scripture in light of being in a Christian gathering (e.g Church) and we have all kindsa ‘spirits’ present –

The Spirit of David there guiding you through praising God even in your toughest times, The Spirit of Joseph, Daniel and the three Hebrew men encouraging you to not compromise your faith, the Spirit of Deborah telling you ‘C’mon girl, yes you can…’ And so on.

But this scripture has ‘come home’ to me in recent times. I will share 7 scenarios with you.

Scene 1.

One of my readers shared something with me recently. It was a family dilemma situation between her and her hubs and she just needed large doses of wisdom and grace to handle it. You know how usually when you have an issue, you may get all worked up and stuff. Ehen!!! So in her worked up state, she spoke to her mentor who amazingly had been through the exact same thing and just counselled her rather calmly through it all. By the time she was gisting me, I kept hearing the phrase ‘…A great cloud of witnesses…’ In my spirit.
Like in a couple of hours or days, the issue was resolved cos her mentor counselled her on what to do.
Nice and easy. Daz how my Sugar Daddy wants us to go through life.
So He surrounds us with a ‘GREAT CLOUD of WITNESSES.

Scene 2

A dear Sister of mine has had some kinda delay in having kids. Oh the week preceding Akikitan was BAD for her. She was DEPRESSED and had done some EXTREME stuff. By the time she got around to talking to me, I didn’t know what to say. Every preaching went flat. She had actually told me ‘E’ you don’t understand…’ And frankly, I didn’t. God does but He’ll work through humans. Wham, the HS mentions Pastor M who had longer years of delay sef complete with an issue of blood but now has a testimony after 8 long years. Ah, I rang PM and asked for permission to forward her number to my sister. I told her to ring me after talking to PM and I’m not kidding you, I actually thought I was talking to a different person when she did about an hour later. Her spirits were lifted, she was back to high mehn. I didn’t even ask her what PM said, I just thanked the Holy Spirit and PM for this ‘great cloud of witness’ testimony. At Akikitan which she came for, I hooked her up with PM who now prayed for her and me I just know this Sister of mine is coming for WWW 2014 with her babies. And on this blog Sis, you will testify.

See how this matter settled, cos of the GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES…

Scene 3

In my 3rd year in Unibadan, first semester, I had the privilege of talking to a peculiar set of people. They had just been chucked out of their departments and were literally losing their minds. Infact, I recall how I was always used as an example by Staff and students alike and so they would always direct such ‘tsunamized’ students to me. I didn’t need to preach. I only needed to share my story with you. Heck sweetie, you got tsunamized in your first year, I got tsunamized in my FOURTH year meaning I was chucked out of Pharm school in my 4th year into finals to go and start at 200level. I ‘lost’ three years. You lost no year. My goodness. Tell me what you have to complain about. As I shared my story ( I was top of my class in my new department after just a year) , I saw hope well up again in them. I saw tears dry up. I’m glad to say that some of them have graduated today with great grades and some, still in school are doing well.

What encouraged them?
A great cloud of WITNESSES.

Scene 4

I met a fine young lady recently. She’s just gorgeous BUT has had major challenges which stemmed from the fact that Jamb had been jamming her hence all her mates are even quarter to graduate. It affected many things chief of which was her relationship with God. I had tried my best to counsel her but err, it wasn’t working as much as I wanted. Then wham, I recalled a dear friend who had issues getting into school and then finally did and hmm, graduated as her class valedictorian. Ah, what does E’ do? Yup. She links them up. And that my dear FABers is how my girl gets encouraged. She is getting her groove with God back, She will get into school, she will graduate and the world will see her do exploits should God tarry. Best of all, she too will become someone else’s GREAT cloud of witnesses.

Scene 5

One of my readers had relationship issues. It was a WEB. A BAD WEB. The kinda web you should not get into cos it now involved family and all. Infact as she gisted me, I was a tad irritated. Relationships shouldn’t be that complicated. Anyways, I recalled another blog reader who my Sugar daddy had delivered from a similar mess-of-a-relationship. Not only did God deliver her, he gave her a GOOD GOD man and now she has a very happy family. Omo, I linked both of them and wham, she counselled and prayed her through it. Now my reader z in a better place.
A GREAT cloud of witnesses!!!

Scene 6

A girl had inter-tribal marriage issue with her parents. Oh, it was bad. I had shared my story on my blog. So a reader introduced her to my blog and so she got in touch with me. I shared more of my story with her. We could actually trade notes lol. Crazy stuff. But she was encouraged. And counselled. Haven’t heard from her in a while but I’m pretty sure she’s married already.

Scene 7

Ah!!! Married life. Tz soooo amazing. But it sure comes with its own challenges. How I have been encouraged reading Inthemidstofher’s blog ( We are so alike gosh!!!). How I have learnt how to avoid wahala by hearing some godly young wives (who have been married before me) share their stories. How I have learnt to be prudent by sharing my mistakes with someone and have her share hers and her victory too. How some wives have shared stuff with me that I have gone through and overcome and have just shared my victorious story with ’em. Ah, I recall Priceless and I discussing one day and God just told me, ‘your challenges are not peculiar sweetie’
Oh no they aren’t. Or was it when the HS prompted me to share som’in VERY PRIVATE with a ‘strange’ friend of mine. I struggled a bit and eventually did whilst telling her I didn’t know why God wanted me to share ooo. I was spot on. Infact, she said I was a life saver. She had struggled with stuff like that as a wife and my story couldn’t have been shared at a better time. Ah, even me felt so ‘Christian’ at that point lol. A dear friend asked me to create a BBM group for young Christian newly weds where we can exchange peculiar stuff and all because ‘Eziaha, you are good with stuff like that…’ . Tempted as I was, I knew I was swamped so I couldn’t manage another group so I told her to start and invite me. Someone remind me to ask her how far with it ooo. (Tani, Valerie do and marry puhleeze)

Look, I can take you through stories and stories and stories just to let you know YOUR challenges are NOT PECULIAR!!! No they aren’t. I don’t care what you are going through boo. Nothing peculiar!!! Don’t let the devil tell you your own is the worst or that it is only you. Evil (and the devil) thrives in secrecy. Look around you Sweetie, we are surrounded by a GREAT CLOUD of WITNESSES.

Find your own cheerleader

They are not just lurking around to make us feel bad for our mistakes, but they are also victors. People who have gone through what you are going through and have whipped the devil’s backside. They can encourage you through it. Don’t glorify and wallow in your pain, weaknesses or challenges. Don’t!!! Look for your WITNESS and get encouraged.

Share with a trusted person. Who knows, they may know your ‘witness’ and hook you up. And cos your witness has been through it, don’t expect him/her to cry with you. Don’t be upset when you don’t feel the person seems a bit more ‘progressive’ in her approach as opposed to having you spend all YEAR telling her your story. Yes ooo, I will empathise with you, but I won’t pull a mat and make your solo a duet pity party. My job is to help you to move on and quickly too. I certainly want you to testify soonest. Tough love is usually recommended sometimes. But by all means, don’t go through life’s challenges alone. You sure have your witness.

And if you have been through, encourage another. Be a proud Victor. I truly believe that just as we are blessed to bless others, we are ‘healed’ to help others through their own healing too because that ministry comes home to you. Do a proper ‘ntoi’ to the devil by helping another person to victory. Don’t WASTE YOUR PAIN by my darling Pastor Bimbo will say. Victories that end with you are at best empty. TD Jakes in his book ‘The lady, Her Lover and Her Lord’ calls it ‘Affecting the next generation’. It is urgent that we break the cycle of going through the same pains from generation to generation.
One of my best testimonies has to be hearing someone talk about how she quit pre-marital sex. Shattah!!! That testimony tickles me pink. Esp when she is sharing that story to encourage another woman. Share your own story too. Again, I think we should be proud victors. Or best still, proud MENTORING victors.

So sweetie, are you going through? Find your own ‘great cloud of witnesses’ and be sure that someday, you too form a part of someone else’s GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES’

Heb 12 1-3 Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit (Message translation)
Heb 12 : 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. (NLT)

Akikitanized FORWARD

If you are waiting for Akikitan gist on my blog, you are on a real long thing. I won’t deceive myself and say I can put what went down into words. If Pastor M can do it, good for you. But two things I will say…
1. When Women Worship 2015 will have incredible testifiers. Many people will CRY a different kind of tears. I know that like I know my name. It will turn the INCREDIBLE testimonies I heard that night to Child’s play.
2. I met tons and tons of people I knew only online. Wow!!! Wow!!! My Word came from Efe though (like I expected) when she said ‘i see ministries birthing here tonight’ and immediately after saying that, she took Tasha Cobbs ‘Power in the name of Jesus’. I knew that was my cue to ‘seize the moment’ with a seed. I had to go and hug her afterwards and I took a picture with her.

The Minstrel Efe

Efe turned the atmosphere to heaven. And that’s all I can say. Heaven go sweet ooo. No miss am.

I can’t stop recommending TD Jakes book I mentioned here.

The Lady, Her Lover and Her Lord

This BOOK keeps changing my life. When one of my mentee suggested we start a book club, I put her in charge and I made us start with that book. Thankfully most of them had it and the ones who didn’t have it got it in like 4days. I was WOWED. We have been reading and discussing it and I am just amazed by Papa Jakes like they call him, and all the rhema my girls be sharing. Just go and buy that book and read. Biko.

BTW, Jakes is June born too. June 9, 14 years after my mama JM. Wow, she senior am no be small ooo. He is 57 and she’s 71. Wow!!!

Right after I hit PUBLISH on this Post, i will go ahead and publish 7 QUESTIONS WISE WOMEN ASK on
Ladies, before I DO, you need to ask and get correct answers to those questions ooo. When a man answers the question ‘Why do you want to marry me?’ with ‘…Because you know how to pound yam’, you know say wahala dey.
It is book and CD review by Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo. So check in sooooon. It will bless you, I promise.
The best part, I’m adding a DOWNLOAD LINK
Post z up here

The one before #Àkìkìtán

I am sooooooooo expectant I can hardly stand or sit still.
My spirit is bursting and rearing to go.

I am incredibly AMAZED as to what happened with IMELA last year. (The Program is actually WHEN WOMEN WORSHIP but each year there is a theme. Last year, IMELA, this year #Àkìkìtán) I am still hearing testimonies. Shattah!!! Jobs, births, business breakthroughs, relationships with God reaching an all time high, dreams birthed, etc!!! God is just incredible. I have no doubt that #Àkìkìtán this year, my Sugar Daddy will outdo Himself. Ah, I can feel Him already. He has even started dropping the miracles. I am a LIVING witness. I had a pending testimony I was going to #Àkìkìtán to praise Him in advance for and my Daddy decides to spoil me silly and land the testimony on my lap in the most dramatic of ways as I was in the airport enroute Lagos for the program.

Ah, I still have more ooo so lemme go and settle it in #Àkìkìtán.

I have done my best to blog and invite as many as possible. I know some ladies just can’t make it for very good reasons. I am not talking about those ones. But it is sorta heart breaking that some people who really should be there and are in Lagos or can be in Lagos on that day and can actually make it won’t come. Trust me, I’m PAINED for you. Anyways, God can still touch them sha.
Then some who are on every SM site I have been screaming #Àkìkìtán on but are waiting for me to specially ping/message them and ask them to come.

No comment. I just know that devil can’t let me miss that kinda thing so long as I am aware and can move things around for it. Tz afterall once a year biko nu.

Hmmmmmmmm. It is well. Amen.

The program will be streamed live on starting at 4pm. If you are outside Nigeria or have a legit reason to not make it, join us online.

Aside the program, I’m giddy that I’ll be meeting lots and lots of people for the first time. All non-DCC members ooo
First off, my mentees. Whoop!!! Those young ladies have carried it on their heads ooo. From outside town, some of them don enter lagos sef in time for the program. Everytime we have a prayer meeting, they pray sooooo much about it. And NO, they are not DCC Members. Some of them even got the asoebi.
Looking forward to meeting y’all. And they are sleeping over in my house afterwards!!! Yaaaaay.

My besties Valerie and Booski will be there. Whoop!!! Some of my Twitter peeps (I truly can’t name everyone) and fellow Bloggers (Frances, Tomiwa, and co) and some of my friends in Lagos and TA too (my church in Ibadan).

Chai!!! You guys come early ooo. I’m certainly trusting to be there at 2pm max 2.30pm so I can have time to hang out with y’all. We all know we won’t be meeting each other during the program. I no dey play rough play. And after the program, everyone will be in a hurry to go home so we can’t be doing Meet n Greet then. So early we shall come, deal? Deal!!! *fist bumps*

Err, for those who need directions, feel free to call any of our ministry lines for detailed description. There will also be free transportation after the program so ask if your route is covered.
08077714411 or 08028356363.

DCC z very easy to locate tho. We are a church bang on the road. Hehehehe. Right on Oshodi-Apapa express way, off Fatgbems filling station just before Mile 2. Once you are in Fatgbems, you are in DCC. Just walk into that road and take the first turn right.

Come early though. Can’t guarantee you a seat inside the Dome at Past 4 but overflow go dey sha (and who knows maybe for just 30mins) Hehehe.

Bring a Worship offering/seed too. You can’t come for that kinda meeting empty handed ooo. Whatever your level, still sow.

Have a heart full of expectations too as you worship. Don’t just come empty hearted (of expectations that is) but hey, just know that you will be soooo full afterwards.

Guys are NOT invited please. You can drop off your ladies and wait outside the property. But ladies, ah, even in jeans and tee-shirt, come. If you know any lady ‘going through’ something right now and in desperate need of a miracle, holler. I am too sure God will meet us all.

Guest Ministers?
Onos will be there LIVE
Efe the Minstrel, I can’t wait yo
And Palmira with the voice of Angelsssssssss too.

Pastor Mildred Kingsley-Okonkwo is the Host

#Àkìkìtán 15-06-14
4pm. DCC Lagos.
See ya…

This post will just be pictures.
You gotta love DCC and whoever brought this concept up

I mean, everyone is AKIKITANized…

BBM is bristling with this. Twitter too. You have to be living under a rock beneath the dead sea to have missed it

I love how peeps be asking me ‘what’s going on?” ‘What’s Akikitan?”

We are starting a revolution yo!!! Get on board already.

Still clueless? Here is what I mean.

Blessing’s smile was the Hands down WINNER btw

Even the babies weren’t left out

And the Olori oko himself joined his daughters and wife

And then this one where he is angry on behalf of all the men who won’t be able to join us loool

Omo I decided not to carry last despite not being in Lagos yet so I got out the only two markers in the house and started trying

Feel free to laugh
Everyone I showed laughed.

And gave suggestions but I couldn’t get any of the stuff they suggested.

So I carried it and did this

Was ashamed of myself so I shared with only Lizzie.

As she spoke her big grammer and gave her yabis, I had a flashbulb moment

Photo grid editor to the rescue

Ain’t no last carrying in this matter abeg

Talk about a REVOLUTION!!!

And this ain’t all ooo. Just follow @dcclagos for more

Ladies, except you are not in Nigeria, you really should be at this year’s WHEN WOMEN WORSHIP

Themed AKIKITAN this year. Loosely translates to When Words Fail

As at last count, it seems like a reunion for me.

Plenty of my friends are coming from outside town.

And the ones in Lagos will now have excuse.

Anyways, me I will be there.

Hello!!! It even fell in June, my birth month. As always that is *wink*

I will share last year’s testimony from IMELA here soon and I am just over the top for Akikitan

See guest ministers na...

OK lemme join my FAB ladies for prayers…
Before I am marked absent or late for today

See you at AKIKITAN

And if you need a place to sleep, my place is open.

Already told momsie that a battalion are sleeping over. Just bring your own food sha. Me I won’t cook ooo. Not even noodles. Hehehe

Some people will sleep on the stairs though lol. Would look for a red carpet to put on it

And BTW, don’t drool too much guys, almost all the ladies I put up are so married. So so married!!!

Diche. Super Proud mama of two;)

First off, Happy birthday to my dearest Diche, Pastor M’s sister.

See the likeness. Choi

Keep it moving ma, FORWARD!!!
June sure rocks ehn. Kai. So my Doctor/Minister Diche z also June born

My favourite picture of her and hers

Ok today’s post.
You know how people say ‘oh I need to complete this post and rush off to church/work/whatever?’
Well I almost never say that cos most times I write my posts over days so I really am never in a hurry.
Today tho, church in 45mins, time check 7:15am, typing as I move around the house and I should be done before or on the way to church.

Ok my first encounter with Onos had to be on BBM. Pastor M always played her song. In my head, I knew the song. Then I saw a picture of her and I’m like ‘this babe is gorgeous ooo’ plus she seems tall from her pictures. Talk about triple word score. Can sing, beautiful and tall.
Then I realised she’s coming for Akikitan. Woooooot. Zeze zeze!!!

Save this date yo!!! 15:06:14

Then Pastor M does a post on her and I’m like ok, I need to check Onos out.
Pastor M sends me the song cos I couldn’t find it online and so I am getting ready to step out and decide to play it.
First off, her voice sounds incredible. Tz a deep one, almost like TY Bello singing or JM talking.
Second off, the song is exactly sung like it has been playing in my head. Whaaaaaat? The ‘everything has changed’ part that is.

Best part has to be the fact that she repeats ‘Everything has changed, for me’ plenty times. Just gives you time enough for it to sink and start scabashing
Thirdly, I love when people sing, talk in between the songs like prophesying and speak in the spirit, especially when women do it. Sinach does it a lot hence my forever love for her songs. Onos does it perfectly too.
Then the song?
Lemme tell you what makes Onos’s ‘Change’ a perfect song to keep singing before Akikitan which really means When Words Fail.

1. She starts by listing past things God has done in her life for which she’s grateful. Things that have caused her to
Sing ‘Everything has changed.’
Common Sis, I know you have a testimony. Yes things may not excatly be perfect but look closely and think, you will find that one incident that has changed your life. Like I said in my last post, we are not reducing them to coincidences oooo. We are consciously making a big deal outta it and thanking our Sugar daddy for it. So come for ‘When Women Worship’ and together we raise our hands and send a healthy sacrifice of worship and praise for all the ‘Everything changing miracle’ our God has done for us.
Deal? Deal!!!

2. The song also speaks of the present. The stuff God is doing. The stuff that hasn’t been perfected yet but you see His hand already. You really need to worship Him for that ooo. Cos the devil can steal a testimony already in the works especially if we don’t secure it with our praise. Look in darling, there is something Abba is doing right ths minute. Ah, me I know mine ooo. And I’m ready to lavish my Papa with worship and praise. David sef will be impressed in heaven. We are going to break his record. David and the angels sef. I remember last month’s WWW we themed Imela. Chai!!! The drama ehn? As they(we) worshipped, God stood up from his throne. As in the worship pushed Him up. It was too much He stood up and started sending His blessings on the worshippers. Zattah!!! This year, we are breaking our own records. Our Words may not do but our Worship unlimited from our hearts we will give.

Ok bathroom break now. Time check 7:35am.

Phew!!! Brb

Ok I’m back. Time check 8:18am
Bath and brekkie done. Yup brekkie done. Had to have brekkie cos I’m not coming home till after LDM today that’s about 8.30pm.

Today, finally!!! Yes you too can have your own fairytale 'Happily ever after' marriage

Ok, so no dice on publishing this before service like I thought. I’m church bound sha. Just maybe I may.

So the third reason has to be prophecy!!! As in just speak it in faith. Everything has changed becomes a Word of faith. Shattah!!! And she keeps saying speak it over your life, your job, your family, your health everything. No devil can stop a faith overdosed person ooo.
That’s my favourite part. So while I’m grateful for what He’s done, what He’s doing, I’m most grateful for what I know He will still do. I have the guts to ask Him for MUCH MORE, and praise and worship in advance. I may not have it now but ah, I know Jehovah be working behind the scenes.
I believe it. I receive it.

I also like where she keeps saying ‘no more sorrows/sickness/pain/etc, only blessings all the way’

This song is the BUSINESS ooo
Here is the video
Good luck finding a download link. Will still check again and I’ll add it to the comments section if I do.
It is a loaded song I promise. Most times I just play it overnight on repeat. So when I wake in the middle of the night, I can truly be worshipping.

Try it. You will thank me la’er.

Ok. I made it. Workers meeting over. 8;57am. Church’s for 9am. Church about to start. And yes, I had time for a bathroom picture. Thanks to God’s Favour. Lol

Sunday kisses

Plus I am meeting a FABer today. Whoop. At LDM.
Happy Sunday darlings.
